Lumo Workshop was commissioned by Frequency Festival to devise an engagement project for the Digital After Dusk event. The theme of the Festival was disruption and working with Choreographer Amy O’Sullivan and the young people of the LPAC youth drama group we devised a walking performance during which large digital cubes were lifted, carried and passed among the crowds gathered for the festival. We created 40 large lit colour-changing cubes for the performance which responded to the improvised music coming from the Halo installation by illumiphonium.
