During the summer of 2021 Lumo Workshop transformed the gardens of Doddington Hall and Gardens into an immersive outdoor experience.
The interactive quest trail was designed around stories based on myths and legends of Doddington Hall and Gardens created by the renowned Rhubarb Theatre.
The gardens became the backdrop to a magical Quest Trail with spectacular performances, live
participation activities, installations and artwork as guests embark on a legendary adventure.
Lumo Workshop also created a large-scale community sculpture, called ‘Jarvis Row’, drawing inspiration from the skyline of Doddington and created with the help of more than 360 children at six schools from the local area. The sculpture was exhibited on the front lawn of the hall.
As well as the wondrous Quest Trail, participants enjoyed workshops,hands-on activities, live performances and artwork throughout the school summer holidays.
This project was made possible by public funding from the Arts Council.
