We have been asked to devise a project for the Gravity Online Day which is being held instead of the Gravity Fields Festival this year. It is disappointing beyond words that we aren’t able to work closely with community groups in person but it is exciting that we have been offered this opportunity to connect virtually.
We have spent a week or so working on a very short video to launch the SK Creative Colour Challenge with the SKDC Arts Team and Gravity Online. We are asking for photographs depicting one of five colours to patchwork onto five flags for South Kesteven. We’ve set up a landing page: www.creative-colour.co.uk where you’ll find all the information about getting involved.
We’ve certainly learnt a lot and it’s been fun to explore ways of reaching out in a socially distanced way whilst keeping our distance from each other! Although we’ve been working remotely on other projects, this is the first one that the two of us have worked on together since lockdown. It’s definitely something we are going to develop further.
